Intervention pop! is an on-campus pop-up project made for ARU Cambridge’s Freshers week 2019. It is an exciting week where thousands of students are moving away from home and managing their own economy for the first time. I was asked to create a pop-up intervention with a clothing exchange and a help desk in one. I created a space where students can exchange clothes and fabrics and get help to alter them as an affordable and sustainable alternative to fast fashion.
The pop-up intervention is installed and removed quickly, just like an umbrella is a personal space you can pop up and down in the blink of an eye.
